SwitchCo Projects were engaged to manage the new Berthing and Infrastructure Project at Webb Dock East in Melbourne to accommodate the new larger Toll vessels. This project involved the complete excavation of the quayside to install new a strengthening structure, the installation of three new concrete dolphins fixed to the sea bed with driven piles, new fendering, more than 200 driven piles in the quayside, and the installation of a new RoRo ramp. SwitchCo Projects have enjoyed working with Toll, McConnell Dowell, and all other suppliers and contractors to deliver this successful project, especially in the short time frame provided.

SwitchCo Projects was able to demonstrate great value for Toll on this project, achieving over $4m of savings through contract negotiation, design challenges, and variation management.
